Acting Director, Office of Examination and Insurance
Amanda Parkhill is the Acting Director of NCUA’s Office of Examination and Insurance. In this role, she oversees the NCUA’s examination and supervision program, which ensures the safety and soundness of the credit unions system and manages risk to the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund.
Ms. Parkhill has served as the Deputy Director in NCUA’s Office of Examination and Insurance since 2022. She started her career with NCUA in 2005 serving as a field examiner in Georgia and then a Problem Case Officer in California. Since 2011, Ms. Parkhill has held various roles in the Office of Examination and Insurance including as a Loss Risk Officer and Director for the Policy Division. From 2020–2022, she worked in the NCUA’s Office of the Executive Director, providing support to the Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director.
Ms. Parkhill received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Eastern Michigan University and an M.B.A. from the University of Florida.
