The mission of our FOIA Program is to:
- Inform the public of the procedures for disclosure of agency records, pursuant to both the FOIA and agency regulations; and
- Process all proper FOIA requests for these records in a lawful, transparent, and timely fashion.
Submit a FOIA Request
You may submit a FOIA request to request access to, or a copy of, any of NCUA’s records.
About the FOIA Process
Federal agencies are required to disclose the records (or part of the records) requested under the FOIA unless it falls under one of nine exemptions that protects information.
Find resources and information about NCUA's FOIA regulations, appeals, request logs and more.
Contact NCUA’s FOIA team if you have any questions about the FOIA process, to obtain information about the status of your FOIA request or to ask a question about the documents you received from us under FOIA.
