National Consumer Protection Week, is a coordinated campaign that encourages consumers nationwide to learn how to protect themselves from fraud and scams. NCUA is part of a group of federal and state regulators, the U.S. Department of Justice, state attorneys general and consumer advocacy organizations supporting the event. During National Consumer Protection Week credit unions are encouraged to share NCUAs online consumer resources to educate their members about protecting their identities and finances.
