Approximately $13.5 Million Will Be Available Through the CDFI Fund
ALEXANDRIA, Va. (May 12, 2021) – Credit unions are invited to learn more about the Department of the Treasury’s Community Development Financial Institutions Fund’s Small-Dollar Loan Program during a webinar scheduled for Thursday, May 27, beginning at 2 p.m. Eastern.

Staff from the NCUA and the CDFI Fund will describe the program and discuss eligibility and permissible uses of these funds. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation. The CDFI Fund anticipates up to $13.5 million will be available for this program in 2021. Credit unions that are not certified as CDFIs may still be eligible for the program through partnerships with CDFIs or any federally insured depository institution whose primary mission is serving targeted investment areas.
