Date:
Mar 22, 2023
Time: 2:00 PM

Credit unions can get valuable new information about loan risks on a March 22 webinar hosted by the National Credit Union Administration.

Registration for this webinar, “Loan Risks in a Changing Economy,” is now open. A panel of NCUA regional lending specialists will cover:

  • The impact rising interest rates have on liquidity;
  • Identifying and mediating portfolio risks in real estate, vehicle, and commercial lending;
  • CECL accounting implications; and
  • Risk-based best practices.

A question-and-answer period will follow the presentation.

The webinar is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. Eastern and last approximately 60 minutes. There is no charge. Participants will be able to log into the webinar and view it on their computers or mobile devices using the registration link. They should allow pop-ups from this website.

Participants can submit questions during the presentation or in advance by emailing WebinarQuestions@ncua.gov. The email’s subject line should read, “Loan Risk Webinar.” Please email technical questions about accessing the webinar to either uccwebinar@ncua.gov or uccsupport@ncua.gov.

The webinar will be closed captioned and archived on the NCUA’s Learning Management System approximately one week following the live event. Creating an LMS account also opens the door to an array of information and educational materials on topics important to credit unions and their members.

You can receive announcements about webinars and other NCUA activities and resources through NCUA Express messages by subscribing to this service here.
