Credit unions with questions about accounting practices can get valuable information from a September 26 National Credit Union Administration webinar.
Registration for this webinar, “Accounting Hotspots for Credit Unions,” is now open. The webinar is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. Eastern and is expected to run approximately one hour. It will include a live question-and-answer session.
Sonya Pickens, an NCUA credit union examiner and national training specialist, will discuss common questions about record-keeping, including:
- Audit expenses
- Managing the allowance for loan losses account
- Balance sheet concerns
This webinar will be close captioned, and there is no charge. Participants will be able to log in and view the event on their computers or mobile devices using the registration link. They should allow pop-ups from this website.
